"A Foodie's Paradise in Umbria and Tuscany" was my second CDV Adventure. My first CDV trip was the Soriano trip and both were wonderful.
CDV never disappoints. Unique and curated experiences with "down to Earth" folks. Ilaria was our leader for both trips and she is just a gem and a lovely person. She is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and genuine. She reflects the philosophy of CDV on every level.
I truly enjoyed having Palazzo Seneca as our home base for the week in Norcia/Umbria. What a beautiful home away from home. The proprietors, the Bianconi's are delightful and I enjoyed meeting all 3 generations. I do hope that CDV will continue using Norcia as a home base/part of their offerings. The people of Norcia experienced a terrible tragedy three years ago but they are persevering and they will not let their beautiful town succumb to the earthquake.
I am already thinking of which trip with CDV I should take in 2020.
